TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using https://www.aodt-dogtraining.co.uk (the “Service”) operated by Alicia’s Obedience Dog Training (“us” “we” or “our).
Your access to, and use of the Service, is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
Private clients
1. We will require a deposit to be paid upfront before confirming a private appointment unless otherwise agreed. We expect payment by electronic bank transfer or cash, Clients can choose to pay the whole amount upfront. If there is a remaining balance, this can be paid by bank transfer or cash on the appointment date.
2. If you need to cancel the training session, we request no less than 72 hours’ notice. If this is given, training sessions can be rescheduled within 4 months. If you do not cancel within this time, we reserve the right to retain the deposit. Should you need to reschedule on more than 2 occasions, we reserve the right to retain half the deposit.
Group training
1. Payment for Beginners courses is required in full 10 days prior to the first session start date.
2. Group classes can be booked up to 1 hour prior to the class starting subject to availability
3. If you cannot attend a Beginner session for any reason, class notes are available. Refunds for missed sessions are not given. If an incident has happened outside of your control (e.g., dog sickness/surgery) the session will be rolled over.
4. If you cannot attend a group class; 48 hours’ notice is required to rebook on your behalf. If this is not possible, you are required to advertise your space in the AODT members group on Facebook.
Classes
In cases of planned events/classes outside having to be cancelled due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances, where possible, they will be held online using video conferencing facilities.
In cases of indoor classes being cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, where possible these will be held outside. In case of indoor classes being cancelled due to Covid-19, other infectious conditions or any other imposed restrictions preventing indoor gatherings from occurring, where possible the class will be held online using video conferencing facilities.
Travel
We endeavour to leave ample time for travel. However, there may be instances out of our control where we are not able to arrive at a session or class on time. If we are not able to make a class or session, we will reschedule at no additional cost to you. Any lost time will be made up during the session or at a later date.
Liability
In no event will we be liable for any loss, injury, or liability to the client.
Handlers and/or owners always remain responsible for their dogs and are advised to ensure they have adequate pet or household insurance to cover for liability in the unlikely event of damage or injury caused by their dog to property or to a third party.
GDPR
The nature of the Services provided by us means that we will obtain, use and disclose certain information about you (“Data”). This statement sets out the principles governing our Use of Data.
When you register for classes, book events or 1-2-1s, you will need to provide certain Data such as your contact details and demographic information. We will store this Data and use it to contact you, provide you with details of Services you have booked, and otherwise as required during the normal provision of activities.

Changes
We reserve the right, at our discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change is determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
